Our Team

Our professional team includes a group of overseas and local experienced performing arts practitioners to deliver techniques in acting, singing, dancing and theatre arts to participating students. We will arrange instructors with different specializations to fly to Hong Kong respective to the musical of the camp.

Founder & Artistic Director: Jonathan Mallalieu MA (Oxon), PGCE


Graduated from Plymouth College and won a scholarship to study music at Oxford University, Jonathan has had a distinguished career in the world of Performing Arts and has been Director of Music in several UK and international schools in Jordan and France before his postgraduate studies in St. Andre’s University and the London University. He has extensive experience as a theatrical director, having produced over 100 full-scale musical shows including West Side Story, My Fair Lady, Oliver, Grease, The Insect Play, Guys and Dolls, and many more! He then obtained a Diploma in Educational Psychology and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education on top of his solid practical experience as a theater and music director.

As a composer, Jonathan has written works in a variety of styles from educational and orchestral to rock and musical theatre. He has been commissioned to write for several TV shows for Channel 4 (UK) and Public TV (USA) and has written scores for Discovery Channel (USA) as well as TV and cinema commercials.

Choreographer: Paul Allnutt


Graduated from the Masters Performing Arts College in England, Paul is an experienced West End performer as well as a dance tutor. He worked on shows such as: West Side Story (playing the part of Chino), Grease, and FAME where he covered and played many of the lead roles, along with the job of assistant dance captain. Other musicals Paul performed included Annie, Oklahoma and the original cast of Santa Claus the Musical.

Paul also taught workshops and classes across the UK for the past ten years along with various choreography and direction for dance productions and musical productions, including, choreographing pantomime for Paul Holman, one of the largest panto companies in England.

Paul also participated in TV and Film productions on top of his busy teaching schedule.

Choreographer: Nicholas Norman

Nicholas NormanNicholas is an arts consultant, choreographer and performer from London. Trained at the Urdang Academy Covent Garden (Dip in Musical Theatre) and Middlesex University (BA Hons in Professional Practice Arts Management), Nicholas is currently working in the faculty of Royal Academy of Dance and as the Arts Award Advisor of Trinity College London.

Performance jobs of Nicholas include The Lion King & Fame in the West End, BBC voice-overs, Gloria Estefan, X factor backing dancer, British Fashion awards, Spillers Pantomime and Millennium Dome. International performance jobs include Yas Raj Bollywood films; Aaja nachle and Tara rum pum, Qatar Aspire Academy opening ceremony.

Choreographer: Kahli Lewis

Kahli Lewis

Kahli is a professional Dance & Musical Theatre Choreographer, Teacher and mentor as well a Principal of Kahli Lewis Dance Company (KLDC). She is fully qualified in ISTD Ballet, Tap and Modern and is also an ABRSM singing coach as well as a dance adjudicator.

 Kahli studied at The Place, London contemporary and London School of Musical Theatre. She has worked as a performer, choreographer and teacher for over 20 years. Kahli currently teaches at Bird College Conservatoire for Dance and Dance and Musical Theatre.  She also has taught at many the UK’s dance and performing arts colleges such as Central School of Ballet, The Urdang Academy, Guildford School of Acting, Elmhurst School of Ballet and Arts Ed Tring park. Kahli has also worked in the Dance Division as a guest choreographer in New York and a choreographer for Beauville Arts in Nice, Beauville and Paris. Kahli has also choreographed the 2019/2020 Duncan Reeves production of Jack and the Beanstalk at the Lighthouse Theatre in Poole.

 Kahli is honoured to be on the Judging Panel for the Dance World Cup, she has judged the 2018 Heats in South Africa and the Dance World Cup Finals in Sitges, Spain. She has also judged the 2019 Dance World Cup heats in Spain and Portugal. Kahli is also on the Judging Panel for the 2020 World Dance Challenge final in Portugal and also the Young Stars Ballet Competition in Romania. Kahli’s choreography has also recently been selected to the extremely prestigious Youth America Grand Prix Finals which take place in early 2020.

Voice Teacher: Joyce Wah-Sheung Wong

Frame-03Joyce made her operatic debut as Barbarina in Opera Hong Kong’s production of Le Nozze di Figaro. Opera credits: Harry, Albert Herring (Intermezzo); Sophie, Wether (Le French May); Voice from Heaven, Don Carlo (Opera Hong Kong); Suor Genevieffa, Suor Angelica (Miami Lyric Opera); Pamina, Die Zaubeflöte (Seoul), Papagena, Die Zaubeflöte (Opera Hong Kong). Musical theater credits: Yvette, Gigi u/s (Media Theater); Belle, Beauty and The Beast (Hong Kong Singers).

In Dr. Sun Yat-Sen, an opera commissioned by Opera Hong Kong, Wong played Lu MuZhen to rave reviews: “Her emotions and intents… was the most touching and dramatically potent moment in the opera and superbly performed”. She continued her season in HK Arts Festival’s June Lovers by Angel Lam, and Frasquita in Carmen.

Joyce has won third place in Yokohama International Music Competition. She is a graduate of Westminster Choir College and Boston University.

Development Director: Susanna Au-Yeung

Susanna Au-Yeung Programme DirectorGraduated from the University of Guelph in Canada with major in Child Education, Susanna started to work in the education field related to child assessment and child development. She expanded her career by running a consulting business for over 20 years in providing overseas education advice and mindset enrichment training.  Her enthusiasm in education development has driven her to explore fun challenges for the children.

Susanna is involved in supporting several charities through voluntary work. Susanna came to know Jonathan and Claire, founders of Beauville Arts, in one of the charity occasions in China. She was impressed to see the positive impact on the hundreds of students after going through the 6-days training musical theatre camp.

Empowered by the same vision, Susanna became the Development Director of the Hong Kong representative office of Beauville Arts in 2012.
